Town Square Boynton Beach Public Update Meeting - November 1

(October 23, 2017) A Town Square Boynton Beach Public Update Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Boynton Beach City Library, 208 Seacrest Boulevard.  Results from the three public input workshops will be presented and include the ways in which the community’s ideas were incorporated into the current designs.

The proposed site plans and the floor plans for a new City Hall/Library, Police Headquarters, Fire Station One and open spaces will be shared and visuals available.  The status of the renovations to the Old High School, and projected completion, will be included. Phase II’s latest project timeline will also be presented. City staff will be available to answer questions.

Town Square Boynton Beach is a 16-acre site in downtown Boynton Beach, just east of the I-95 Boynton Beach Boulevard exit. The boundaries are Boynton Beach Boulevard on the north, Seacrest Boulevard on the west, Southeast Second Avenue on the south and Southeast First Street on the east. The project is a public/private partnership between the City of Boynton Beach and E2l Real Estate Solutions, LLC. Town Square Boynton Beach includes the renovation of the historic Boynton Beach High School into a cultural center, residential and retail spaces, a hotel, public spaces, a garage, fire station and a new city hall. The Schoolhouse Museum and Children’s Learning Center will remain. Phase I, approved by the Boynton Beach City Commission on June 12, 2017, includes interior and roof rehabilitation of the vacant historic Boynton Beach High School and design plans for the new City facilities.
